DrumAsia was founded in 2014 by brothers Michael and Nicholas Thomas Philip, born out of a soundproofed home rehearsal studio their parents built on the top floor of the family house. Michael Thomas Philip (Owner & Founder) and Nicholas Thomas Philip (Second Founder & Head Sound Engineer) grew their childhood jam sessions into Desa Sri Hartamas' premier rehearsal hub and live venue — making world-class backline and stage production accessible to Malaysia's independent music scene.
